Among the houses of the Valyrians, House Cyzoth are the most tight knit and loyal. Their House is wrapped in ties of loyalty that have never broken when compared to the sometimes fractious Valyrian Dragonlords. They encourage close knit bonds and often take great pains to ensure a sense of familial loyalty that is impressive to many.
In fact in their entire history there has never been a civil war or conflict. It was also House Cyzoth who inspired the very first expansion outside of the Valyrian peninsula with the founding of Volantis done mostly to escape the constant wars between Houses back home before the Compact of Fire was established in the homelands. It is due to their constant stability and lockstep action that Volantis has become the largest and wealthiest city outside of the Valyrian’s homeland.
Their current leader is Daenys the Hearthmother. She embodies the strong central figure for her family to rally around with every member being fanatically loyal to her. She is known for her fecundity as well having born 27 children. The House was supposedly founded by Daenar who claimed the dragon Spyrax the Hidden. Their fief is Volantis and primary rivals are the Valaerys of Tyrosh.
